Clara, two, was born with a cleft palate and was diagnosed with a rare condition known as Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), according to a GoFundMe launched by her parent's employer based out of Sparta for her medical expenses.
She also suffers from several other medical conditions and as a result, must undergo complex surgery, the campaign says.
While a $5,000 expense was estimated, “the true cost of all the operations she needs in addition to medicines and doctor’s visits is unknown,” reads the fundraiser.
More than $3,700 had been raised as of Friday.
